Crystal World and Prehistoric Journeys

Crystal World and Prehistoric Journeys is one of the world’s largest wholesale and warehouse supplier of gems, crystals, minerals, fossils, meteorites, carvings and unique specimens in Australia. For clients ranging from small collectors to Museums and merchants.

Our high-quality stock is handpicked from around the world and we operate more than 40 active mining leases in remote locations across Australia. Fossils are a special area of interest for us at Crystal World and Prehistoric Journeys, we have the largest collection of fossils for sale in the Southern Hemisphere. Our team of dedicated miners and preparators are working full time to bring you rare and unique fossils suitable for your display case or Museum.

Director of Crystal World and Prehistoric Journeys Tom Kapitany specialises in deep time geology and palaeontology, traveling the globe extensively to collect rare and ancient specimens. Having studied Geology and Botany at the University of Melbourne, Tom now manages his time between his endeavours at Crystal World, consulting internationally with Museums and Universities, as well as being the Managing Director for National Dinosaur Museum, Canberra.
